❓ Where's Ms. K?

I haven't been active on this site in a very long time. I'm not going to post a lot of details here, because it's no one else's business. Let's just say there's been a lot going on in My life, and that was true even before the pandemic. I simply haven't had the time, energy, or desire to even log into social media, let alone do anything with it. "May you live in interesting times" really is a double-edged sword. My life has been interesting, and not always in fun ways, but it is what it is. I'm easing Myself back into activity on My various platforms but I'm taking things slow and trying not to push Myself too hard too soon.

If you've sent Me a message and I didn't respond...yeah, sorry not sorry. I have a life outside of social media and I've been focusing on things that are far more important to Me. I plan to be more active here going forward, but social media is still pretty low on My priority list, so how active I am will depend on what other things are taking precedence at any given time.

Blogging Boredom = Live Tweeting

I haven't felt like blogging lately. I've been bored with it and just haven't been able to come up with a topic I felt warranted a full blog post. Instead, I've taken to live tweeting during some of My favorite television shows. Wine may or may not be involved in this endeavor.

I've discovered live tweeting is helping to overcome My blogging boredom and it takes less effort to think up a funny or snarky one-liner every few minutes than to sit down and focus on crafting a blog post.

Got all done up for the June birthday bash over the weekend and the rain made My hair go flat in about five minutes. Plus, it's allergy season so My eyes are all itchy. Bleh. I'm wearing My glasses instead of contacts. But I have wine. Wine makes everything better.

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone had a good week. I've been doing a lot of yard work lately, helping My roommate get all the brush that accumulated over the winter bundled and ready for pick up today. Despite some weather-related setbacks, I'm happy to report we succeeded in meeting our deadline. Woo hoo!

Now I plan to treat Myself to some well-deserved R&R.

Tomorrow afternoon, I'm going out with friends to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I insisted on going to a matinee so I can be home in time to watch the Kentucky Derby. One of the many things on My bucket list is to go to Churchill Downs and watch the Derby from the box seats while drinking a mint julep and wearing one of those ridiculous hats. I'm not a hardcore horse racing fan, but it's one of the few sports that interests Me.

 I know you want to finance My trip. After all, what else are you good for unless you're pleasing Me? Oh, that's right...nothing. So be a good little minion and get down on your knees. Now, slowly slide your hand into your pants. That's right, dig deep...deeper...and pull out that wallet. Now click one of My tribute buttons and send Me that cash. Good boy.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I hope all of you stayed warm, safe, and had a fun time. It was pretty chilly where I live, but I managed to get out of the house for a bit with my BFF, S. If you've been reading My blog, you'll remember her cat died recently. I took her to lunch at one of her favorite restaurants to cheer her up.
